First of all, you must pay attention to the position where the blade and the ceramic first contact. You may think that any position is ok , but our technicians told us that when the high-speed rotating blade touches the center of the abrasion resistant ceramic alumina tile liner, the ceramic plate will be broken due to shear stress. Therefore, it is necessary to start cutting from the end of the ceramic tile, so that the stress can be reduced to a small amount, and it will not affect the cutting effect of the alumina liner.
The second is to pay attention to the cooling of the cutting blade. When cutting such hard material, the temperature of the blade rises quickly, which will cause the strength of the blade to decrease, so it’s better to cooling the blade with water.
